4 Ways to Achieve a Fresh Start

By Amy Wright | Sep 22, 2020

Forget January, everybody knows that the real start to the New Year is September! Whether it's the back to school vibes, the cooler weather changing the color of the leaves, or something else entirely, September is the perfect time for a fresh start.

1. Declutter your space

Don’t wait until spring to clean out your space. Whether that’s tackling your pantry, closet, bathroom, etc., now is the time to do it! Re-organizing your possessions will breathe new life into your home and ensure that you’re ready to take on whatever life throws at you.

2. Learn a new skill

There’s no better time to learn something new than right now. Have you always wanted to learn how to speak Spanish? Maybe you’ve been wanting to knit your grandma a sweater to thank her for all the sweaters she has knitted for you. No matter what skill you want to learn, you have to make it a habit in order to excel at it. Use this September fresh start as an excuse to learn and try something new!

3. Try meditating

Life can get crazy busy, and with everything this year has thrown at us, it can also get very overwhelming. Try to recenter yourself through meditation. Whether that’s a movement mediation (yoga, walking, etc.), or something more traditional like a guided meditation (you can find many meditation apps in the app store!), meditation can help you slow down, reflect, and get you into the right headspace to tackle your to-do list.

4. Refresh your space

We’re all spending significantly more time at home, with many of us working from home as well as living at home. Staring at the same walls for hours a day every single day calls for a much-needed switch up! While a full-on renovation of your home may be out of the cards, refreshing your space can be as easy as hanging new wall art!

We have high-quality, museum-grade, custom canvas, framed, triptych, collage, and pet portrait prints! We have everything you need to turn your house into a home and your home office into a more productive workspace.
