The numbers don’t lie

Who knew that a quick and effective way to increase employee performance and productivity was simply by displaying art in the workplace. According to Forbes, research done at Exeter University’s School of Psychology showed that people working in enriched spaces (decorated with art or plants) were 17% (and even up to 30% according to other similar studies) more productive than those in lean spaces (not decorated with art). This is correlated to the fact that art boosts positive emotions and elevates team cohesiveness.

A collaboration of the Business Committee for the Arts and the International Association for Professional Art Advisors found that art in the workplace helps businesses address key challenges such as reducing stress (78% agree), increasing creativity (64% agreed) and encouraging expression of opinions (77% agreed).

Our Linked in Survey also showed that 99% of North American Professionals enjoy having art in their workplace.
