5 Simple tips for redesigning your bedroom

By Amy Wright | Feb 4, 2021

Are you bored with your bedroom? You’re not alone. We stare at the same four walls every single morning, night, and sometimes even multiple times throughout the day. We’ve become so accustomed to what our bedroom looks like that we don’t even need to be inside of it in order to describe it perfectly.

The solution to this bedroom boredom? A mini revamp! We say mini because we know that redesigns can be costly and take time that you may not have. A mini revamp is the perfect solution because it won’t break the bank and it takes minimal effort to execute!

Still not sure where to start? Read on to learn these simple steps you can take for a complete bedroom refresh.

1. Move your furniture around

Do you remember the excitement you felt when you were a child and your parents would help you rearrange all of the furniture in your bedroom? Channel that feeling again as an adult by rearranging your room once more! You’ll wake up feeling like you’re on an entirely new planet, and that excitement will carry on throughout your day. When you rearrange your personal space it grants you the ability to feel resourceful and ignites new joy with items you already have.

2. Bring some nature into the indoors

If you haven’t already, add some plants to your bedroom. Whether you hang them from your ceiling, place them on your windowsill, or stagger them throughout your entire space, plants will purify the air in your bedroom. The cleaner the air, the happier you will be in your refreshed space!

3. Update your wall art

If you’re still looking for a change, something that will upgrade those same four walls you always stare at, hang some new wall art! The best part? Our high-quality wall art is completely customizable. Whether you’re looking for a canvas print, a framed print, or something in between, we have it! And if you need a larger statement piece or print that’s a little smaller, feel free to inquire about our custom sizes! We’re always happy to help turn your photos into stunning wall art!

4. Increase the amount of light in your room

This could mean opening your curtains (you’re not a vampire, embrace that natural light!) or it could mean including some extra lamps around your room. The addition of extra lighting will make your room appear even bigger and boost your mood. It’s a win-win!

5. Light a candle

This tip is probably the easiest thing you can do to upgrade your room! Light a candle, burn some incense, use that Scentsy you put in storage years ago, or add some essential oils to your diffuser. Just do something that will help your space smell clean, fresh, and inviting. Trust us, you won’t regret it.
